Built to Understand What You Build.

Every player makes a different world. Cardboard Catacombs reads each new level as you play, so enemies can react without every encounter being set up by hand.

Intelligent Enemies

Enemies that react to you and the world around them.

How Enemies Read the Level

The Level Becomes Part of the AI

When Raid Mode starts, Cardboard Catacombs scans the world you built and works out how enemies can use it.

Enemies can find cover, high ground and routes through the level without asking the creator to mark those places by hand.

Enemy Teamwork

Fighting a Group, Not a Queue of NPCs

Enemies work together instead of acting like they are alone.

Nearby enemies can share where they last saw you, spread out across useful positions and avoid crowding into one spot.

Close-range enemies take turns moving into attack positions. The rest wait in separate places until there is room to join the fight.

Build Mode → Raid Mode

One Level. Two Jobs.

Build Mode keeps the world you created safe. Raid Mode makes a temporary playable version of it.

When you return to Build Mode, the temporary changes from playing are cleared, but your original level stays exactly as you built it.
